Topic: Using insight to “Do the Right Thing”
Please join us for a chance to meet colleagues, hang out over beer and pizza, and chat about how you use research insights to do the right thing.
- Do you advocate for specific outcomes or solutions or business decisions? What does it mean to “do the right thing”? Right for what or for whom?
- How do you construct your recommendations and arguments to drive your organization to outcomes you believe are right? What works with business leadership and what does not?
- Where do you stand personally? Do we have an obligation to represent our research participants’ interests? Where does empathy come into it? How about ethics? What do you do when your insights are accepted, but they are used to achieve a different outcome?
Whether you work in a company with a high-flying mission or a more straightforward profit-making objective, we’d love to see you there!
